there is a spark of light
some light of a Prayer that's Yearning
that is a bridge to God in life


there’s always a need for love
and a healing of a heart
a way to reach above
the challenges we find


there is always a glimmer of hope
a cosmic truth that's alive
that knows our inner truth
that is present in the soul of humankind


so light a candle
say a prayer
find the grace to be
aware of those in need
reach out and share some kindness
with those who are suffering


a little love
can change the way
and we can help
heal the pain that weighs
so heavy on the mind
