for those Spirit teachers like Ram Dass
and others who are close to moving on ..

watching the changing of the guard
with the ones who were our teachers
and those courageous leaders
moving onward to the light

and all the pearls of wisdom
are now laid before us on the path
to cherish and reflect on
as a mirror of the past

and there is a glow of gratitude
for light of the holy ones
who came to show the way
here in the spirit of these changing times
we still ride the seventh wave

and we pass the torch to those who come
with the legacy that was begun
by the light workersof the new dawn
with the doorway still open
for the work yet to be done
by those who choose to carry on
